These programs are offered for the benefit of Robbinsdale Area Schools Employees.
The Basement is middle school child care for students grade 6-8.

This unforgettable cooking experience introduces you to a cuisine that’s light, healthy, and bursting with flavor. Whether you prefer bold, spicy heat or a more mild touch, you’ll explore dishes that celebrate exotic spices paired with everyday ingredients like vegetables, lentils, and beans.
Meat lovers welcome too! Non-vegetarian options include beef or chicken sautéed with aromatic spiced butters and wholesome oils, creating rich, deeply satisfying flavors.

Mimi is an energetic cooking instructor who is passionate about cooking in general and Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine in particular. Her long list of experience includes teaching cooking at community education classes in Minnesota as well as leading cooking classes around the Midwest and Southwest. Mimi's culinary expertise spans cultures and includes everything from Mediterranean to Asian to southern food.
