These programs are offered for the benefit of Robbinsdale Area Schools Employees.
The Basement is middle school child care for students grade 6-8.

This summer, students will dig in and discover the tiny heroes that keep our ecosystems thriving. In this hands-on course, kids will create, care for, and maintain pollinator habitats while exploring the wonders of healthy soil beneath their feet.
Through planting, observing, and soil exploration, students learn how pollinators and soil work together to support plants, food systems, and the environment. Along the way, they’ll build responsibility, curiosity, and a deeper connection to nature—getting their hands dirty while having meaningful summer fun.
Perfect for young nature lovers who enjoy gardening, exploring, and learning by doing.
