Rink Rats at Sonnesyn Elementary School

Learn the fundamentals for floor hockey, ice hockey and the basic skills for ice skating in the Rink Rats program provided by the Herb Brooks Foundation.  The class will also teach skills such as teamwork, conflict resolution and leadership. Rink Rats provides a supportive environment where children learn the basics of hockey through a progressive teaching method.  Children will gain self-confidence and feel empowered through learning new skills and finding their place in a group setting.  Our coaches are from FHIT Hockey and have a professional coaching background.

This is a FREE program through the Herb Brooks Foundation.
No prior hockey skills are needed.
Helmets, sticks and skates are provided for class use.
Students will also receive a free jersey to take home on the last day of the session.
