Empty Bowls Donation
Welcome to the 8th Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser
Helping to feed people in need
Tuesday, March 6, 2018
Robbinsdale Cooper High School
Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger. The basic premise is simple: potters and other craftspeople, educators and others work with the community to create handcrafted bowls. Guests are invited to a simple meal of soup and bread all donated by local businesses. In exchange for a cash donation, guests are asked to keep a bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. Local singers, musicians, orchestras, and bands will be playing all evening. Donations will be used to offset expenses for Empty Bowls including art supplies and paper goods. All proceeds from Empty Bowls will be divided between PRISM and NEAR food shelves.
Empty Bowls 2017:
- raised nearly 19,000
- had nearly 60 event sponsors
- had close to 1,200 attendees
- engaged almost 200 volunteers
With your donation, we are helping to feed people in need.
