    Meet Stephanie Stockton Stephanie Stockton is a professional dancer and performer who teaches tap dancing to seniors for Robbinsdale Community Education and the Plymouth Creek Center every Friday. She's been teaching seniors at the different community centers since the late 1990s. "Because I was getting older, I thought, this is where I belong," Stockton said. "I belong helping older adults have a good time and achieve a little more healthful kinds of activities to do."Tap Dance Beginners and Beyond Been wanting to “shuffle off to Buffalo” or want to improve your “time step?” Don’t know what those mean? That’s okay, too! This class is perfect for beginners as well as those with some tap dance experience. Students will learn cool tap dance steps and dance choreography. Have fun while you learn techniques and styles of classic routines.  Tap shoes preferred, but hard soled leather shoes will also work.
