    We'll create over 20 appetizers that require less than 20 minutes, from start to finish! You can serve these appetizers as a first course or a snack for family and friends. You could even create a complete buffet. Our selections will include recipes for spreads, hearty appetizers, dips, dippers, nibblers, hot appetizers and more! Enjoy the selections during class or take your samples home. Please bring a food container with you to class.

    One adult and one child, ages 5-17. Register under the child's name. Eggrolls and samosas are flavorful appetizers you can make with your family for years to come! Make a variety of egg rolls, samosas and dipping sauces with your favorite cooking kiddo. These appetizers are jammed with flavors from around the world and can be a quick way to incorporate leftovers into something new and fun to eat. Make a variety of egg rolls, samosas and dipping sauces to enjoy! *Supply fee of $20 will need to be paid to the instructor day of the class. There will be many left overs to bring home.   • Kitchen Knife Skills & Sharpening Basics

    What is sharp? We discuss choosing kitchen knives, different knife steels, and the pros and cons of each. We will talk about how a knife becomes dull and how to sharpen, care for and store your knives, and we'll discuss and practice the various knife cuts. *Please bring your own knives to work with. Bring your own cutting boards and variety of vegetables to practice on.

    Join Kirsten from her home kitchen in this live online cooking class as she demonstrates variety of recipes to brighten up your summer, including quick air fryer vegetable-forward seasonal snacks plus a Blueberry-Ginger Shrub and Rosemary Lemon Syrup to liven up your warm weather libations. Participants will receive an extensive handout along with the link to join prior to class. There will be ample time for questions during the session, and participants will receive a link to the recording afterwards so you can follow along at your convenience. * Please be sure to have your email listed in your profile
  • The Art of Sushi

    Come explore the world of sushi as you create this Japanese delicacy yourself. We'll begin by preparing the coveted sushi rice then you'll learn the art of "nigiri-sushi"(hand molded rice) topped with shrimp, unagi, tamago, ahi tuna, and more. You'll then learn how to prepare "maki-sushi" using a bamboo mat to roll rice with various fillings in and around Nori (seaweed sheets). Options and accompaniments will include surimi, cucumber, avocado, cream cheese, teriyaki chicken, tempura onions, spicy mayo, eel sauce, wasabi, pickled ginger and soy sauce.

    Tiramisu is a coffee-flavored Italian dessert. It is made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar and mascarpone, flavored with cocoa.
