Pre School Level One (3-5 years old): Preschool Level 1 – Enter and exit water independently, blow bubbles, submerge mouth, nose and eyes, retrieve objects underwater, front glide and recovery, back glide, float and recovery, roll from front to back and back to front, arm and hand treading motions, alternating/simultaneous/combined arm and leg actions on front and back, and safety topics. Exit skills: (performed with assistance) 1. enter water, travel 5 yards, blow bubbles for 3 seconds, and exit water. 2. Glide on front for 2 body lengths, roll to back and float on back for 3 seconds, and recover.

We are excited to announce that Robbinsdale Community Education Aquatics is now offering Red Cross lessons. This is exciting for us. What does this mean for swimmers? Our lessons will be 30 minutes of packed activities, including review of previous lessons and skills, additional skills that build upon those already learned and safety information to keep you and your family safe in this Land of 10,000 lakes. Instructors will be engaged and charged with the task of giving students an opportunity to learn while providing corrective feedback.
