Have you ever wanted to try your hand at Abstract Art that is fun and Colorful? Create a unique Burst of Sunflower using vibrant inks that create a one of a kind abstract art piece!
Alcohol Ink (AI) is a new painting technique that just screams ABSTRACT. With so many different techniques, AI will soon become a favorite medium. To make your sunflower, you will first lay down ink for the center.
The next step is to create the petals. The petals will be created using a hand rubber blower. Remember that this is abstract so don’t worry that each petal is perfect.
The last step is to create the center by dropping various colors to brighten and create depth in your flower. Remember this is the fun part – explore your creativity.
Your instructor will help guide you through each step.
Just come to have fun and enjoy yourself. Best part of using Alcohol Ink is if you don’t like a part of your picture, you can wipe it off with Isopropyl alcohol.
**Supply fee of $15 (cash) will paid to the instructor the night of class.
You will make one 6” x 6” painting in your chosen colors. Given time, you can create a 2nd painting with a white or black background.
