    Stir up and bake scrumptious cookies and candies. Create favorites like Russian Teacakes, Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies, Cranberry-Orange Shortbread Cookies, Chocolate Fudge and Pretzel Rods dipped in caramel and chocolate! Each student will go home with 10 dozen boxed holiday treats! *A supply fee of $25 will need to be paid to the instructor the night of class.

Ages 10+ are welcome to register with a registered adult. On the Menu: Brazilian Coconut Chicken with Peanut Sauce Brazilian- Style Pasteis (Empanadas) $20 supply fee paid to the instructor the night of the class, one fee only for those who register as adult/child.     Add four cookies to your holiday treat selection- Krumkake, Pizzelle, Sandbakkelse and Rosettes! Learn to create the rolled Norwegian cookie called Krumkake (made with cream, butter and cinnamon, sometimes with vanilla), Italian Pizzelles (a flat anise-flavored cookie, may be flavored with vanilla), the chewy almond Swedish Sandbakkels (baked in tiny tins to resemble tarts), and Rosettes (deep fried paper-thin Scandinavian delicacies dusted with confectioners’ sugar). Expect great recipes plus many tips and techniques that will make your baking a success! *Please bring containers to carry your creations safely home. *Bring Supply fee $14 (cash or check) will be paid to the instructor the night of class. * Please notify us if you have allergies to eggs, milk, butter.
  • Freezer Meal Prep

    Prep along with Kirsten & Megan in your own kitchen to stock your freezer! As we all prep and assemble different entrees together we’ll talk about Meal Planning and make ahead tips & tricks. You’ll receive an extensive shopping list & recipe handout before class (with lots of substitutions for GF, DF, and meatless options) and after class a link to the recording for future reference.   • Gingerbread House Bake & Build

    Gather the whole family and join in the fun Baking and Building your very own show-stopping gingerbread house from scratch during this festive Family Bake-along experience. Together, we will combine the wonderful flavors of gingerbread and use the dough to create the pieces that will be used to “build” breathtaking houses. We will also whip up the perfect batch of stiff Royal Icing—the edible “glue” that holds everything together and is used to decorate the houses with candies and delicious treats. Participants will receive a professionally made PDF ingredient list and prep packet a week in advance of the class to allow time for shopping and preparation. The packet will also include the Instructor’s “Gingerbread House Specific” Recipe that she has tested time and time again to ensure the cookie pieces are delicious but strong enough to hold the weight of the icing and decorations. A template that will need to be printed and cut out before class to be used as a “pattern” will also be included. Whether you are starting a new family tradition, or continuing a beloved one, this cozy, joy-filled experience will leave everyone smiling, and maybe sneaking a few gumdrops. By the end, participants will have built not just a stunning work of art, but sweet memories to last a lifetime! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This class will take place on Zoom, free online software.     One of the most healthful of the Asian cuisines, delicious Korean cuisine features mainly vegetables and harmonized sauces. In this online interactive class, we will make delicious kimchi stew (kimchi jiigae) and stir-fried sweet potato noodles with beef (japchae). We will finish up the class with Korean apple tea with ginger and cinnamon (SuJeongGwa). *This class will be online using Zoom.   • Make Ahead Boards

    If it’s a board for 3, 30, or 350 Kirsten has arranged them all, and you can too! The best boards contain many elements that can be prepped ahead, so cook along with Kirsten as she makes Quick Pickled Vegetables and Spiced Nuts, then follow along—or take notes for later—as she adds fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and/or dips then kicks it up a notch with edible garnishes. We’ll talk about what elements make up a well-rounded cheese board, how to arrange cured meats for charcuterie boards, when to go beyond the traditional, and how to source local products.     They are beautiful and so fun to make! Bake and assemble one recipe from start to finish, as well as decorate and assemble the other two recipes. Nancy will show you some simple tricks to make the process easy.     If you say, “I can’t make pies” then this class is for you. Nancy will take you through all the steps, from making a crust, to preparing all the filling for your pie using the freshest apples. Each student will leave class with a hot apple pie to share with family and friends. Boxes will be provided.   • Monster & Stuffed Cookies

    Step into a sweet winter wonderland in this joyful holiday cookie workshop cook-along experience led by instructor Tess. Learn to create FOUR amazing gourmet cookies from scratch using two types of dough using Tess’ original recipes. Only requirement is being able to keep the recipes secret! First up, MONSTER COOKIE DOUGH will be used to craft two DIFFERENT types of Monster Cookies, one of which actually looks like the beloved Cookie Monster, and the other is more of a classic albeit moist, delicious, and decadent. They are MASSIVE, colorful, chewy, and loaded with festive mix-ins that are as fun to make, as they are to eat. Next, an out of this world dough will be created using a recipe Tess has never shared before that uses very unconventional mixing techniques. The dough will be used to create the ultimate bakery, NYC-Style stuffed cookies filled with dreamy indulgent centers like cheesecake, and fudgy brownie. Cookies will then be created, once again, using unconventional shaping and baking techniques! Tess will also demonstrate how to stuff cookies with the Viral Dubai Chocolate, and how to create her version of a most delicious Apple Crumble Stuffed NYC—style cookie. In addition, you will be absorbed in the process of how to make a full flavored, colorful King Cake, complete with festive flair & filling, and a surprise inside, and the making of warm, powdered sugar—dusted beignets as the instructor demonstrates the making of these two beloved New Orleans sweets. Perfect for families and food lovers alike, this cook-along class is all about celebration, bold flavors, and letting the good times roll... NOLA style! Cook Along: Muffuletta Bread, vibrant olive and veggie giardiniera-style condiment, and assembling the colossal sandwich with classic deli meats and cheeses.
