    Sweet summer projects! A tres-chic skirt, tie-top blouse, headband and more. No experience necessary. Students will make, showcase, and take home all their projects. Hand and machine sewing techniques are taught with SAFETY FIRST always in mind. The final day is a showcase where friends and family are invited to see the projects in action.   • Engineers' Odyssey Auto Innovators

    Are you ready to change the world through car creation? With LEGO® Bricks, you can design and construct a variety of cars, including wind-powered vehicles, high-performance drag racers, and rubber band-propelled cars. This educational program will guide you through the engineering and design process, teaching you how to create cars that are environmentally friendly and efficient. Are you the next Nikola Tesla?   • Destination Mars: Rocketry Course

    Launch and watch your very own rocket speed 300 feet into the air! Then it is yours to take home! Students will make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout this session. We will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including: propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. We will also hypothesize about travel in outer space, how to get a United States astronaut to Mars and life on Mars. Do you have the right stuff?     Fencing

    New and returning students invited. Your favorite instructors return with more knowledge, refined coaching skills and, of course, your favorite fencing games and arm bands.   • Woodworking

    Build a picture frame, a race car, catapult and trophy display base. Builders will learn to measure, cut, sand, paint and then take home each project they build. This Youth Enrichment League (YEL) class educates students on the use of basic tools (hammers, nails, screwdriver, measuring tape, t-square and more). SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY. No power tools will be used in class. Students should wear clothes that can get paint on them.

    All levels welcome.
