Adventure Club school-age care serves students Kindergarten through grade 5 and is located at all elementary schools throughout Robbinsdale Area Schools district.

Child care with preschool component for children ages 4 and 5 years old who will be attending Kindergarten within 1 year.
These programs are offered for the benefit of Robbinsdale Area Schools Employees.
The Basement is middle school child care for students grade 6-8.

Learn to create the rolled Norwegian cookie, Krumkakes, made with cream, butter and cinnamon, and sometimes flavored with vanilla. For generations, Minnesotans have purchased their irons to bake krumkakes from local manufacturer Nordic Ware in St. Louis Park.
Italian Pizzelles are also baked on the top of the stove using an iron but are a flat, anise-flavored cookie or they also may be flavored with vanilla.
The chewy, almond Swedish Sandbakkelse are delicate golden brown in color and are baked in tiny tins to resemble tarts.
Finally, we will aster deep fried Rosettes - those exceedingly fragile, paper thin Scandinavian delicacies dusted with confectioners' sugar.
Expect great recipes plus the many tips and techniques that will make your baking a success!.
*Please bring containers to carry your creations safely home.
*Bring Supply fee $14 (cash or check) will be paid to the instructor the night of class.

Laurel Severson is a home economist with over 15 years of experience in commercial food service, recipe testing and editing. She lived in England for several years and is an avid cookbook collector. Laurel has been teaching cooking classes in the Twin Cities for many years.
