These programs are offered for the benefit of Robbinsdale Area Schools Employees.
The Basement is middle school child care for students grade 6-8.

CAHOOTS is a self-led summer program that keeps academic skills sharp through math and language arts workbooks.
Learn to decorate cupcakes with buttercream using beginner-level piping techniques. In this class, you will receive 4 vanilla cupcakes, buttercream, piping tips, and bags. You will learn how to fill the piping bags and pipe beginner-level floral cupcakes.
Instructor Bindu Bedi is a self-taught baker who learned how to pipe flowers during the lockdown. She also taught her daughter, who now runs a home bakery. You can see their work on Instagram at @aanis.home.bakery.
Supply fee of $20 due to instructor at class.
Hi, I’m Bindu Bedi. I’ve been a resident of MN for the past 31 years. When I first moved from India, there were barely any Indian restaurants to go out and eat at, so I made everything at home. Being a foodie, I later learned to make a lot of other foods, but Indian food is still my favorite. All the Indian spices and herbs used in Indian food are also healthy, so that’s an added bonus! In this class, I will teach how to make home-cooked Indian meals. This class entails family-style cooking, where everyone will be helping in the kitchen and then share the meal. No prior experience is necessary.
