Create Nintendo-inspired characters using TinkerCAD while learning 3D design skills. They'll also do fun Nintendo-inspired challenges and create themed video games while waiting for the prints to finish. One to two student-designed projects will be printed and sent home. YEL Project Runway For students entering 4th-8th Grades New summer projects! A swimsuit coverup, mini messenger bag, ear bud case and your personalized sewer’s handbook. The {YEL!} Project Runway Sewing Camp follows four basic principles: •Teach It!…Students are taught multiple hand and machine sewing techniques; •Practice It!… Students practice those techniques on basic projects; •Sew It!…Students increase their skill and sew more complicated projects; •Own It!…Students showcase their projects on the last day of class (family and friends are invited), then take everything home with them to walk the runway of everyday life! Landlubbers need not apply for this thrilling camp! Discover the joy of sailing on Medicine Lake with certified instructors. Learn on dinghies-which are nearly impossible to capsize-to gain confidence as you practice sailing in a relaxed and fun environment. Camp held at French Park.

Join us for Hawaiin dancing fun! We will learn basic dance steps using music from the Moana 2 movie, then put them together for fun combinations to show at the end of the week. Dance styles will include ballet, jazz, and hip hop. Additional activities include crafts and fun dance games. Ballet or jazz shoes are encouraged. Please bring a snack and water bottle each day. There will be a performance for family and friends for the last 10 minutes on Wednesday.

Dive into a world of discovery and innovation at the AquaAeroSpace Adventure STEM Camp, where young explorers take on hands-on projects in robotics and science, all inspired by the wonders of water, air, and space! Campers tackle exciting, theme-based activities that bring STEM concepts to life. Each project encourages critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity, allowing campers to solve problems like engineers and scientists. Design your own 3D pocket monster using TinkerCAD. Create your own Pokémon-inspired 3D designs and experiment with TinkerCAD’s SimLab. This course will give students an introduction to using CAD modeling and design software. Student designed Pokémon will be printed and sent home at the end of class. Printing and material fees are included.

Players will work on drills to improve their skills in ball handling, shooting, rebounding, defense and strategies of the game. The camp will be led by Cooper Boys' head coach Bo Powell, his staff, and players.

Learn the ins and outs of 3D Design and 3D printing with TinkerCAD! TinkerCAD will teach you 3D design and 3D printing! While learning 3D design skills, students will make custom DnD D4s (4-sided) and D10s (10-sided). They'll also do fun DnD-inspired challenges in TinkerCAD's SimLab. The custom dies will be printed and sent home. Dies will be printed and sent home at the end of class. Printing and material fees are included.

{YEL!} WOODWORKING | 2.0 For students entering 4rd – 7th grades Build a paddle boat, a bird house, trophy stand and garden tote. Builders will learn to measure, cut, sand, paint and then take home each project they build. This Youth Enrichment League (YEL) class educates students on the use of basic tools (hammers, nails, screwdriver, measuring tape, t-square and more). SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY. No power tools will be used in class. NOTE: Participants should be comfortable cutting using a small saw as well as using other hand tools. Students should wear clothes that can get paint on them.

Learn the basics of game design in this class using the hit game, Roblox. Create your own 3D games in Roblox Studio! In this class, we will explore the different possibilities Roblox has to offer in creating awesome games. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day.

Get a great head start in learning how to code as well as learning computer science concepts using one of the fundamental programming languages of professional developers: Python. Its syntax allows programmers to express concepts in fewer lines of code than possible in languages such as C++ or Java, making it the perfect coding language for beginners. Python is a text-based language, so students should have good keyboarding and basic computer skills. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day.

Dance through the Eras in this fun-filled camp! Learn ballet, jazz and hip hop styles of dance, and put steps together for fun routines to music by Taylor. We will also make bracelets and crafts, and play fun dance games. Ballet or jazz shoes are encouraged. Please bring a snack and water bottle each day. There will be a performance for the last 15 minutes on Thursday.

They'll also do fun Harry Potter-inspired challenges and create themed video games while waiting for the prints to finish. Student-designed pendants will be printed and sent home. Harness the power of Redstone to create magical effects, from floating candles to moving staircases. And with a custom magic plugin, design and play thrilling Harry Potter-themed mini-games. We will be using the PC/Java edition of Minecraft. Students should have basic reading skills and be comfortable using a computer. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day.
