Students then use these projects (and more) to investigate engineering concepts. We keep it fun with open-ended, creative projects. -
Coding My First Game: Minecraft Adventures (Gr 1-4)
Learning to code is fun, especially when you are coding a Minecraft adventure of your own! Create amazing Minecraft creatures to then code and create your personalized Minecraft adventure game to show and share with your friends. In small teams, create a treasure map where your character needs to find a diamond trove, survive lava, get away from dangerous creatures, and much more. -
Destination Mars: Rocketry Camp (Gr 2-5)
Youth entering grades 2-5 in Fall 2023: join us to launch your very own rocket and watch it speed 300 feet into the air! Students will make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout this session. We will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including: propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. We will also hypothesize about travel in outer space, how to get a United States astronaut to Mars and life on Mars. Register by July 24. -
Multiplayer Minecraft: City Builder (Gr K-2)
Minecraft has been a sandbox building game dominating the world of video gaming for the past several years. Collaborate with fellow students to construct a city! Students will take home their completed world files at the end of class. Beginners and experienced Minecrafters alike will love this action-packed camp. -
Multiplayer Minecraft: Skyblock Creator (Gr 3-5)
Use creativity and Redstone to create this floating world! You will get a copy of the world map to take home and expand on. Basic computer skills are needed (this includes good keyboard and mouse skills). We will be using the PC/Java edition of Minecraft. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day. -
NEW Engineering: Rube Goldberg Machines (Gr 3-5)
Chain reactions! Design and build amazing moving machines and teach our LEGO® bricks new tricks. Students working in pairs will learn about physics and engineering concepts such as Velocity, Projectiles, Trajectories, Force, Motion, and more. Students will learn new ways to combine LEGOs® to cause different chain reactions and, on the last day, will design their own Rube Goldberg Machine! -
NEW! Multiplayer Minecraft: Escape the Ener Dragon (Gr 3-5)
Unleash your creativity as you work collaboratively! Create a world with others in multiple unique, themed escape room adventure maps. Our mission is to race through the end and escape the Ender Dragon. Students will get a copy of the world to continue development at home. We will be using the PC/Java edition of Minecraft. Bring a USB drive to save your game on the last day. -
NEW! RC Robotics (Gr 6-9)
Students will love seeing their creations in motion using IR remote control LEGO® MINDSTORMS® components. Students will explore robotic concepts in small teams by working through step-by-step projects and example programs. They will then have the opportunity to modify the builds and programs. -
NEW! Video Game Design
Join us for hands-on experience developing your own game. Students will create their own version of asteroids from scratch, using construct 3, a visual coding platform that teaches students the basics and structure of programming. Computer skills are needed (this includes good keyboard and mouse skills). Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day. -

NEW!! Science MythBusters (3-5)
Is it science, magic, or a little bit of both? Learn the scientific explanation behind many seemingly “magical” occurrences. Not only will you use science to perform “magic” tricks that will surprise your audience, but you’ll learn the basic principles of chemistry as you mix, pour, and stir concoctions before your very eyes! -
Robotic Pet Lab (Gr 1-4)
We all love our pets. You’ll have motors, batteries, and other supplies at your disposal to create a new robotic pet. Create a fun robotic or non-robotic project every day. We’ll top it off with other engaging and mind boggling activities. -
Science Explorers Crazy Chemistry (Gr 2-7)
We will investigate the Periodic Table and learn about its families with fun and exciting experiments as we discover the science side of STEM. We will break some chemical bonds, get messy with polymers, and much more. Our classes are hands-on, so be sure to dress for a mess! -
Science Explorers’ Wizard School (Gr 2-7)
Join Science Explorers as we investigate a wizard’s laboratory. You will become an apprentice as you learn the science behind the magic. Learn to harness electricity to make your own wand. Explore the secret world of alchemy as you create scientific potions and more in this fun and imaginative hands-on class. -
Shocking Electrical Engineering (Gr 2-7)
Join us for some hair-raising, hands-on fun, as you build electrical circuits with batteries, wires, motors, buzzers, and switches all while learning about the history of electricity and the flow of electrons. You will also investigate which liquid solutions will conduct electricity, plus build battery-powered gadgets, including an electromagnet and more to take home. -
Spectacular Engineering Adventures (Gr 1-4)
In this adventure we have combined all-time favorite projects. You’ll engineer an amazing paddleboat, create a mini rocket, build a pneumatic machine, an exhilarating pinball machine, and have fun building many more extraordinary engineering contraptions. Be blown away by your engineering skills! -
Tech Academy: Engineering Crazy Action Contraptions (Gr K-2)
