  • Adaptive Archery

    Join instructors from the Outdoor Recreation School of Three Rivers for adapted archery program for adults with physical or cognitive disabilities. Learn how to safely shoot a compound bow using USA Archery instruction. Safety and proper shooting techniques will be covered. Please indicate during registration if the participant would benefit from the use of a bow stand. Bow stands assist archers who have difficulty gripping or holding up a bow. Participants are invited to bring up to one family/friend/PCA free of charge to assist them with personal needs during the program. More information and a waiver will be emailed to you 2 weeks prior to the class date. Please be sure to have updated all contact information in your account. More information on the class will be emailed to you. Participation assistance is required for these needs: Communication with instructor Personal safety Manage behavior Understand and follow directions Navigate in a large facility or crowd Staff/Family Members are expected to actively provide needed support and assistance with the class or project, and refrain from texting and phone use.
