For non-vegetarian, we can use different types of meat sautéed with various kinds of flavored butter and healthy oils.     Create a beautiful fabric collage hanging using a technique called Slow Stitching - a relaxing form of embroidery that focuses on process rather than pattern. We'll layer fabric scraps onto a 6" x 6" square and then use a various hand embroidery stitches and trims, beads, etc. to add texture and color. Come explore your creative side.   • Exquisite Ink Hydrangeas

    Have you ever wanted to try your hand at Abstract Art that is fun and Colorful? Alcohol Ink (AI) is a new painting technique that just screams ABSTRACT. With so many different techniques, AI will soon become a favorite medium. To make hydrangeas, you will paint using a silicone tool and AI in a palette. First, you will outline your hydrangeas to form the base. Then you will fill in the petals of each flower highlighting with white alcohol ink to create depth. To finish your painting, you will add flowing stems/leaves. Your instructor will help guide you through each step. You will have the opportunity to paint hydrangeas on a white or black background. If time permits, you can paint a 2nd picture on the opposite color. Best part of using Alcohol Ink is if you don’t like a part of your picture, you can wipe it off with ISO alcohol. **Supply fee of $15 (cash) will paid to the instructor the night of class.

    Come learn about the sport of archery in our 2-part family archery series! Join instructors from the Outdoor Recreation School of Three Rivers to learn how to safely shoot a compound bow and hone your skill by shooting at stationary targets. Then build upon your newly learned skills to practice shooting from further distances and try out the walk-around course and the raised archery tower. Participants ages 11 and younger must be accompanied by a registered adult. Participants must attend both dates. Equipment provided.     Hobby Group: Sumi-e Japanese Brush Painting

    Sumi-e Club Meet with others who share your passion. All abilities welcome. Groups are self-directed. Bring your own supplies. There is no class fee to participate but there is a $19 annual fee per person. Stop by the Adult Enrichment office at Pilgrim Lane in Plymouth call 763-504-6990 to join a Hobby Group. Sumi-e Japanese Brush Painting Explore the ancient practice of Japanese Sumi-e, a unique style of black-ink brush painting on paper. Join other Sumi-e painting enthusiasts and practitioners for a morning of painting and calligraphy, sharing techniques and learning from one another. The Sumi-e group welcomes both those with experience in Sumi-e ink painting as well as beginners. For beginners we provide instructions and materials for use in class, to get started. Join us to develop your brush painting skills, and experience the peaceful and elegant art forms of Japanese calligraphy and Sumi-e painting.
  • Home Electrical Repair I & II

    Week 1: In this introductory class, we will review the home electrical system, different types and gauge of wire, application and safety. Proper techniques discussed for stripping wire, attaching to outlets, switches and light fixtures, as well as test equipment. Bring straight and Phillips screwdrivers, long nose pliers and wire stripping pliers to class if you have them. Week 2: Continue learning by attending this hands-on class. You will install single pole and 3-way switches, outlets and light fixtures to energize a light bulb and test the circuit. We will discuss proper installation of different light fixtures and ceiling fans. Prerequisite: Please bring your tools from Repair Class Week I.
